This is a huge plus point, especially if you have tried smart cameras before and you do not like the black-and-white vision that you normally get with most cameras.
With this particular version you will be able to record night time video in full, vivid colour and this will work in environments up to 25 times darker than traditional cameras. So this means that you will not be able to get a true colour image in pitch black, however as long as it is only 25 times darker than a standard image it will show up as colour.
In short, for most environments unless you live somewhere where it gets really dark at night you will be able to experience colour images.
The other benefit of this camera is the versatility. You will be able to use this both indoors and outdoors, the camera itself is a wired water resistant video camera that you can confidently install outside in the rain or you can install inside.
You will also get motion and sound detection which works very well, this is another area where they have improved and a bugbear of most security cameras. If you have tried other security cameras and you find that the motion detection is not up to your standards then give this a go because we think that you will be very impressed. It will also give you great sound detection and will send an alert to your phone when it receives even motion detection or sound detection.
You will also be able to configure this so if you do not want it to go off you can simply configure it not to alert you.
Another thing that you can do is set up motion detection zones, this will allow you to adjust the sensitivity of detection and make sure that you always have control over what you are being notified about.
Another great feature with the Wyze Cam v3 with Color Night Vision is that it has a siren button. This means at any time you can let off a very loud siren and that will scare off any unwanted guests.
The option that you have with the Wyze Cam v3 with Color Night Vision and storage is also very easy to use as you will get a free 14 day rolling cloud storage. It will also give you the option of 24 7 continuous recording. With your purchase you will get a 14 day cloud storage as long as they are only 12 2nd video clips and you also have the option of recording several days of video, this will require a microSD card in order to use this feature.
Videos in the cloud can always be viewed for up to 14 days after the recording.

Colour night vision:
The standout feature of this camera is the colour night vision. It will give you something called a Starlight sensor, and you will be able to see a preview of this over on the product page Amazon.com. In short with a standard nightvision you will get a black-and-white representation of whatever is going on, with the Wyze Cam v3 with Color Night Vision you will get a image that looks very much like broad daylight so you can see in colour exactly what is going on.
This is perfect if you are worried about security and you want to be able to grab good images and video, it is also one of the main features of this product.
Indoors or outdoors:
The Wyze Cam v3 with Color Night Vision is weather resistant and relatively easy to set up as it comes with full instructions. If you’re going to set this up outdoors there will be some wiring involved, although as we mentioned above it is relatively easy to do.
You will also find that this camera can handle all of the elements without an issue, alternatively you can also use this is a very good indoor camera.
Our recommendation is to use this camera outdoors as we believe it is a little bit of overkill if you were to use this indoors.
Storage:
The Wyze Cam v3 with Color Night Vision also makes storage very easy you will be able to choose from a free 14 day rolling cloud storage. This means that it will be able to hold video clips for 14 days before they are deleted.
Bear in mind, although this is free it does only give you a very small time limit for each video. If you want to be able to record longer videos from the camera we highly recommend investing in an SD card.
This will allow you to store longer videos, they are also relatively cheap and you will be able to pick up an SD card over at Amazon.com.
Two-way audio:
The Wyze Cam v3 with Color Night Vision also gives you a very good feature in the way of two-way audio. This means that you are able to speak to people in real time and also respond in real-time. Not only can this be very handy if you are receiving a parcel and you are caught in the shower and you want to be able to tell where to leave the parcel. The other use that this has is to deter any unwelcome visitors, bear in mind that you also have the siren feature as well so this is a great function.
Verdict:
The Wyze Cam v3 with Color Night Vision has won several awards, you will be able to see these over on the product page and you will be able to see that the massive tech giant Cnet have rated them very highly. If you want something that you will be able to use that gives you the latest features you can experience from a smart camera then this is a great purchase.
