The Teckin Cam 1080P camera is a fantastic purchase and it will give you everything that you need from a security camera that you are using specifically for one room. The only reason that we haven’t given this a complete 5 out of 5 is that it will not give you a complete solution, for instance you can use this as a baby monitor and also a home monitor but if you wanted to monitor the entire home you would need to buy more cameras.
In terms of the features that you get and how this works it is a really good buy, we think you will be very happy with this and it definitely gives you everything you need to get up and running quickly and easily so we don’t envision you having any problems with setting this up.
One thing that we would say before we take a look at the standout areas of this product is to make sure that you have a good Wi-Fi connection. The chances are if you are reading this and you are currently looking for a good Wi-Fi security camera, then you already know that you have a good connection.
However, it is well worth checking out because if you have a bad connection, you will find that this is very hard to use. Our recommendation is to go over to the area that you wish to use the Teckin Cam 1080P camera in, use your cell phone and see how your connection is.
If your cell phones connection is very slow then you can expect the same from this camera, but it can normally be easily fixed by making sure that you pick up a Wi-Fi extender.

This will connect as with most Smart cameras over a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi connection, most Wi-Fi connections will give you a 5 GHz option which is shorter range but faster. Make sure that you also have 2.4 GHz channels configured otherwise you will have problems connecting this.
The other thing that you will like about this product is the versatility that you can place this pretty much anywhere that you want, in the pack it will give you everything that you need to install this on the wall, or you can place it on a shelf with ease.
You will also be able to stream in 1080p HD and it will give you 100 and a degree wide-angle viewing over the Internet, this means that if you have it placed in a room you will pretty much be able to see the corners of the room which is a really good option, and you should have no problems being able to see wide angles.
You will also be able to set this up the motion or sound detection and it will automatically record a video, the app will then notify you and your phone will be triggered, this makes it a fantastic security tool, but you can modify this if you wish and not have as many notifications.
The other really great thing with the Teckin Cam 1080P camera especially when you consider the price of this product is that you can go for a two-way audio and nightvision, this means that you can get set up and you will be able to have a two-way conversation with anyone in the room and you can use this to speak to family members or pets. You will also be able to see with the night vision mode that should be able to stretch up to 32 feet as included in the product is 6 infrared LEDs.
This is a really good feature and again it really shines when you consider the price of this product which is very cost-effective and all of the options that you are getting.
The other thing that you can do with this product is share everything that you want with your friends and family and you can simply share live streaming moments through the app, this means that you can check in on your family or your pets when you are away and also share videos with them.
Another thing where this excels that people really like and it was getting great feedback is the fact that you will be able to use a cloud storage service, or you can use a SD storage solution. If you’re going for the SD card it will be more local and you will be able to use up to 128 GB for videos, but the great thing is that they also offer free cloud storage, but these are available in packages so if you want to have long videos uploaded you would normally have to upgrade.
