As you can see above we have given this a very high rating, the only reason that we haven’t given this a 5 out of 5 is because it is not as well-known brand. We know that this is not strictly the product’s fault but if you are buying a security system and you are put off by the brand then we recommend going for a system like the Ring. It will end up costing you more but you may feel better doing that if you want something that is more proven.
That said, you will definitely find something that you can use here and it will also give you a wide range of features such as something that can be used indoors and outdoors, it will also give you a 1080p HD camera with a siren and it will also give you night vision, the battery is rechargeable and it will also work with many home automation systems.
This is where the Kasa Home Security Camera really shines. It gives you a product that has everything that you need to be able to get up and running and you should find this simple and easy to use, we think that you will get a lot of use out of this product and you will be able to get up and running quickly and easily.

When you consider the price of this product and then you look above and see everything that you are getting it is truly phenomenal. Of course the real test is that all of the features work really well but as we have had a look at above most people have not complained about the features.
The first thing that you will get is a crystal clear live view 24 7 feed, this means that you will be able to see everything in a crystal clear 1080p HD video and it will also give you 130° of visibility. This is really good if you have this indoors or outdoors because it gives you a very wide angle view on what is going on. In short, you will be able to see exactly what is going on and if you have a wide room or you are worried about not being able to see the corners of your room then this camera will solve the problem.
It will also come with a really good night vision camera that will detect activities up to 25 feet away in the dark, this is also really good when we had a look at the reviews around the web people were singing the praises of the night vision. The downside with night vision is that it can be quite poor in a product of this price, but with the Kasa Home Security Camera they have broken the mould and given you something that gives you fantastic night vision for the price.
Another really good feature that you will probably want if you’re looking for a camera like this is the installation is super simple all you need to do is place your camera exactly where you want it. You don’t need to worry about any wires, and you can place this anywhere. It will also give you the freedom to place any smart camera anywhere so you can double up on this product if you want to have more cameras.
It will give you a rechargeable battery that has a lot of life and that means that you can place this anywhere you need.
The other thing that you are getting which is a really good feature is motion detection which works really well, this works as standard with most smart cameras and it will send you a notification if it detects motion within the ranges that you set. The other really cool thing about this product is that you will get cloud storage and it actually gives you one year for free, when you compare this to a ring device it is a lot cheaper and it will actually give you a rolling 12 hour video history, if you wish to have more than that and store all of your videos you will need to pay a subscription but this is a great starter pack in one of the best that we have seen for the storage.
With any smart camera will probably not get away from the monthly charge, we have had a look at some of the best smart cameras on the site here and we have not found any that allow you to get away with free storage entirely. In fact, some of the bigger brand names actually only give you a few seconds worth of footage and then if you want to be able to have the videos, they make you upgrade.
With this product you are getting quite a good package that gives you a rolling 12-hour video history for an entire year for free.
The other thing that is really good about this product is that you will be able to watch the feed of the camera from anywhere. All you need to do is download the free app and then you will be able to stream video to any Alexa or Google assistant, if you have a supported display that is connected to this system you can also watch on the big screen.
If you are putting this outside you will find it is IP 65 weatherproof and that means that it will be able to handle all of the outdoor conditions and it will ensure your devices protected against rain and dust no matter where you place it.
